After 14 consecutive years of SAM conventions, the SAM team is taking 2007 off, and we encourage local ministries to have regional gatherings and to experience other conventions. Part of the reason for this is the timing of great things happening at Cook Communications Ministries.

Cook, the sponsor of the SAM national convention is in the midst of major, strategic reorganization and transformation—including nearly all new senior leadership. The SAM organizers are spending 2007 as a year of research and evaluation to align future endeavors with Cook's priority to "do the right things and do them right." We are taking a step back to ask God what is the next step. We ask that you please join us in prayer about this.
